At the  call of CPIM district Nawanshehar a massive militant rally and demonstration was held in Shaheed Bhagat Singh Nagar in.protest against the arrest of Comrade Mahan Singh Rorhi President Punjab CIT and his immediate release from jail and Withdrawal of false police case.The rally was addressed by State Secretary of CPIM ,Comrade Raghunath Singh General Secretary Punjab CITU, Gurchetan Singh Bassi state president of AIKS Punjab unit,Comrade  Balbir Singh Jadla state Secretariat member CPIM and state committee members Darshan Mattu, Ram Singh Noorpuri, Subhash Mattu, Sucha Singh Ajnala State Finance Secretary of Punjab CITU, Surjeet Dher and Rana Karan Singh General Secretary Kandhi Sangharash Committee.Apart from the leaders of the CPIM leaders of all other political parties including former MLA Ram Kisan Kataria.After the rally militant demonstration was taken out in the city and dharna was staged in front of DC office.The Deputy Commissioner came to.the venue of dharna and received the Memorandum. The DC Nawanshehar assured to take up the matter with THE CM Punjab.
